Logan's first H.S. Varsity Invitational Tournament, as a freshman, at the Eden Holiday Classic on Saturday Dec. 11, 2010, he saw some great competition and proved to be his toughest competition to date wrestling against all upper classmen with considerably more experience. Logan held his own, with 2 wins by PIN over his competitors from Southwest Randolph H.S. and Seventy First H.S. Wrestling a total of 5 matches during the tournament, his remaining 3 matches were losses to more experienced grapplers from Southwest Guilford H.S., Martinsville H.S., by pin and Morehead N.C. heavyweight by a 4-2 decision. Undaunted by his lack of High School experience, he gained valuable experience to carry him throughout the rest of the season.
This brings Logan’s High School record to 4 wins, 3 losses, with an overall record of 64-9.
