Mike London's UVA "Big Man's" Football Camp June 19, 2010

" IMPRESSIVE - EFFICIENT - EFFECTIVE"  are only a few appropriate words to describe this camp!
An estimated 275 Big Man High School players were in attendance ranging in ages
from Freshmen to Seniors!

A solid 4 1/2 hours of coaching fundamentals of football for high schools grades 8-12 this past Saturday at University of Virginia - Mike London's "Big Man's" Football Camp in Charlottesville.

Logan weighed in at 6' 0", 250 lbs. and not only matched his colleagues in size but also ability.
The day consisted of 7-8 training stations manned by not only UVa football staff but also college coaches from around the country from such notables as University of New Hampshire, Brown,Cornell and high school head coaches from around the state
Both offensive line & defensive line sessions were held, players chose either one or the other for the day. During the morning session, players ran through the stations, twice, ending with a offensive vs defensive competition to showcase what they had learned during the morning session. The same scenario was repeated in the afternoon session. It was simply amazing to watch how players progressed in applying the techniques learned from the morning session to afternoon session competitions. Physically exhausting to all in attendance, in the 90 degree heat, all walked away with skills that will be used throughout their football career.
